When you create a job request, you’ll be asked to select the type of service you need and where the job needs to take place. This helps us, and our system, understand what your project involves and match it with the right tradespeople.
Tradespeople list their skills and the areas they work in on their profiles. If they’re professionals, they also upload documents confirming their business registration and insurance.
Using this information, location, expertise, and professional status, our system automatically determines which tradespeople should be notified about your request. Typically, several relevant tradespeople in your area will receive a notification.
You may then receive offers or questions from interested tradespeople. If you haven’t had any responses after 48 hours, you can relaunch your job request to nearby tradespeople. Just click the “Manage my request” button on your job posting, then click the option to send it out again.
