A direct payment means that the customer has already paid the NeedHelp service fees via our platform. However, the payment for your work as a tradesperson has not yet been made.
How does it work?
Once the job is fully completed, the customer will pay your part of the amount directly to you.
This can be done using a method you both agree on, such as:
- Bank transfer
- Cash
- Any other mutually agreed payment method
Who decides how I get paid?
The payment method and timing should be agreed upon directly between you and the customer. NeedHelp is not involved in this part of the transaction.
What happens if there's a problem?
Because the payment does not go through the NeedHelp platform, we are unable to assist in case of payment disputes.
For your protection, we recommend:
- Confirming payment terms with the customer in writing before starting the job
- Keeping proof of communication and completed work
